Illinois State University is a Public University founded in 1857 known as Illinois State Normal University. It was founded as training school for teachers. By 1968, University was renamed by Illinois State University.ISU is the oldest university in Illinois. As per the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education, ISU is known for top ten largest numbers of teachers productions. The University provides all basic facilities to the students.
