About University
Victoria University of Wellington is one of the prestigious Universities in Wellington, New Zealand founded in 1897 by the Act of Parliament. University begun to teach in the year of 1899 with only 115 students enrollment. For first few years, lectures took in rented place. Ultimately, The College Council decided to build campus in six vertical acres in kelburn which is known as Kelburn Campus. By 01 January 2005,
The University declared the Wellington college of Education as the Faculty of Education. From Single campus with around 250 students, Victoria University of wellington spread over into a network of 3 campuses, Research Center, Institutes and partnership worldwide. Today University enrolled more than 20000 students including approx 4000 international students coming from 116 countries. VUW offers about 100 of Undergraduate and 200 of Postgraduate programs.
Victoria University of Wellington provides 9 faculties named Architecture and Design, Business, Education, Engineering, Graduate Research, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Science etc. VUW is well known for Law, Humanities and some scientific disciplines programs.
